The PHPA is working with media helicopter operators and public service agengies, including fire and law enforcement agencies, in promoting ways to keep the skies safe above major televised incidents.

The Public Service And Media Aviation Guidelines booklet was developed in order to provide better communications between aircraft operating in the vicinity of large televised incidents, including wildland brush & structure fires, hazardous materials spills and police incidents.
